Who We Are

The People’s Post Alliance, as a part of the Indivisible network, is a coalition of postal workers, families, and community allies united by one belief —
that an independent, transparent, and publicly accountable postal service is essential to democracy.
We are everyday people who understand that the Postal Service is more than an institution — it’s a lifeline.
It connects rural towns, urban centers, and everyone in between.
It delivers medicine, ballots, paychecks, and peace of mind.
And it belongs to the people — not politicians, corporations, or private interests.

Our Mission

To defend the integrity, independence, and public character of the United States Postal Service by:

• Promoting accountability, transparency, and respect for workers.


• Educating the public on the Postal Service’s constitutional and civic importance.


• Mobilizing communities to protect universal service for every household.


• Building alliances that bridge labor, consumers, and democracy movements.

We believe that protecting the Postal Service means protecting democracy itself.

What We Do

• Organize: Unite postal workers and allies through advocacy, public education, and action.


• Inform: Publish updates and research about threats to postal independence and the solutions communities are creating.

• Mobilize: Coordinate rallies, campaigns, and partnerships that keep the Postal Service in the people’s hands.
